By integrating STOTT Pilates and other exercises, Therapeutic Exercise helps correct muscle firing and alignment patterns, which have often formed over many years. Therapeutic exercise is especially helpful for ongoing trouble spots.
We usually start with a functional assessment and posture analysis to check for imbalances. Sessions emphasize muscle awareness, strengthening, stretching, and conditioning. Exercise therapists work closely with our clinic's chiropractors and massage therapists to problem solve and address pain patterns through integrative approaches.
We're big proponents of self-care - we'll create an exercise program that you can do at home and use us for guidance. Additionally, we can often bill your insurance for these services
Private sessions are individually tailored to each person's specific needs. Whether you are just coming out of physical therapy, dealing with an injury or alignment issue or simply wanting a full body workout, privates are the best way to focus on you as a whole. Your initial session will include a postural analysis and an introduction to the foundation of Pilates and it’s essential exercises. Utilizing all of the Pilates equipment in the studio, we will continuously progress and deepen your Pilates practice to allow you to get the most out of every session. We will establish and reassess your goals on a regular basis. Available equipment includes the Reformer, Cadillac, TRX, squat rack and various small props.
